They used a technique that was not from Zhenyan hall...or one of them did anyway. Plus their faces are covered. Clearly they have some other identity and we don't yet know what the surprise will be. Perhaps they are aligned with his allied forces and Ye Yu will be trapped, not wanting to hurt them. Hard to say....we will just have to wait and see.
